I’m Prajeesh AD, a Goa based multidisciplinary artist who hails from Kerala, India. I hold an MFA in Sculpture from University of Hyderabad and a BFA in Sculpture from RLV College, Kerala. My body of work is expansive, encompassing sculpture, photography, video, and design. My work revolves around the basic tangled, contradictory incompatibilities in the nature of human mind and space. I work with layman’s work tools with which I try to reconstruct the defined character set for the tool.
Photography is also a medium of expression for me. My photographic practice is a continuous dialogue between the internal landscape of human thought and the external world of form, light, pattern, and reflections; these elements transform everyday spaces and objects into abstract compositions that evoke a sense of introspection.
